A classic Thai Beef Salad with a perfectly balanced dressing and a mix of fresh herbs, delivering a burst of flavor in every bite.

- 1 pinch cooking / kosher salt
- 225 g beef steak (sirloin)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups mixed lettuce leaves
- 10 unit

- 0.25 cup cilantro/coriander leaves
- 0.5 dl

Steps
- Grind chili, garlic, cilantro stems, and salt into a paste.
- Mix in sugar, lime juice, fish sauce, and oil. Adjust to taste.
- Preheat skillet, season beef with oil, salt, and pepper, then cook to desired doneness.
- Let beef rest after cooking.
- Toss lettuce with dressing.
- Slice beef, mix with salad ingredients and most of the dressing, then assemble on plates.
- Garnish with peanuts, extra herbs, and remaining dressing.
