Salmon tartare

Takes 70 minutes | Serves 4 |

A refreshing and elegant appetizer combining fresh and smoked salmon with a zesty lime and chive dressing, served on cucumber slices.

Ingredients

  • 100 g fresh salmon
  • 100 g smoked salmon
  • 1 item shallot
  • 1 tsp chives
  • 1 tsp lime zest
  • 0.5 lime lime juice
  • 1 tbsp crème fraîche
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • 4 tsp salmon caviar
  • some item cucumber slices
  • some for dressing olive oil
  • some for garnish tomato
  • some for garnish lamb's lettuce

Steps

    Preparation

    • Dice both fresh and smoked salmon into small cubes and place in a bowl.
    • Finely chop the shallot.
    • Add crème fraîche, chopped chives, finely chopped shallot, grated lime zest, lime juice, salt, and pepper to the salmon. Mix well.
    • Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

    Serving

    • Dress cucumber slices with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
    • Place a round mold of the salmon mixture on top of the cucumber slices.
    • Top with salmon caviar.
    • Garnish with tomato and a little lamb's lettuce.
