Ingredients

  • 400 g young green jackfruit in brine or water
  • 100 g onion
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 8 pieces tortillas
  • 30 g cilantro
  • 1 whole avocado
  • 1 whole lime

    Preparation

    • Rinse and drain the jackfruit, then pull it apart with a fork to achieve a shredded texture.
    • Sauté the jackfruit with chopped onions and minced garlic cloves.
    • Add cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, and lime juice to the sautéed jackfruit and cook until flavorful and slightly caramelized.

    Serving

    • Warm the tortillas and serve the jackfruit mixture on them.
