Doughnuts

Delicious homemade doughnuts that can be filled with jam, chocolate hazelnut spread, or whipped cream.
Ingredients
- 90 ml water
- 150 ml buttermilk
- 1 unit egg
- 57 g butter
- 454 g all-purpose or bread flour
- 57 g sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 g yeast
- some ml oil for frying
- some g sugar for coating
- some undefined jam for filling
- some g chocolate hazelnut spread for filling
- some g whipped cream for filling
Steps
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with a pinch of sugar. Add to the well in the dry ingredients along with buttermilk, egg, and melted butter. Knead until dough forms, then let rise until doubled.
- Knead dough on floured surface, divide, and roll out to 2 cm thickness. Cut out doughnuts and holes. Let rise on parchment until doubled.
- Heat oil to 180ÂșC. Fry doughnuts until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towels.
- Roll cooled doughnuts in sugar. Fill as desired with jam, Nutella, or whipped cream.
