Caesar Salad

A classic Caesar Salad with homemade croutons and dressing, featuring crisp romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and a tangy Caesar dressing.
Ingredients
- 0.5 baguette French baguette
- 6 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 4 Tbsp parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1.5 tsp red wine vinegar
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
- 0.125 tsp black pepper
- 1 large head romaine lettuce
- 0.33 cup parmesan cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut the baguette in half lengthwise then slice diagonally into 1/4" thick pieces. Place on a baking sheet.
- Combine 3 Tbsp olive oil with minced garlic. Drizzle over bread, sprinkle with 2 Tbsp parmesan, and toss. Bake until golden (10-12 minutes).
- Whisk together garlic, dijon, Worcestershire, lemon juice, and vinegar.
- Slowly add 1/3 cup olive oil while whisking. Season with salt and pepper.
- Chop romaine into bite-sized pieces. In a large bowl, add lettuce, parmesan, croutons, and dressing. Toss to coat.
