This version of the classic Argentinian Alfajores features a rich combination of chocolate, orange zest, and brandy-flavored cookies filled with dulce de leche and coated in smooth chocolate.

Steps
- Mix flour, cornstarch, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and espresso powder. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat butter and sifted powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Add vanilla, honey, orange zest, and brandy (optional), mixing after each addition. Incorporate eggs one at a time.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients mix, combining at low speed initially then medium until dough is uniform. Chill the dough as needed.
- Roll out the dough, cut into circles, and bake at 175 C for 13 minutes. Let cool on a rack.
- Fill cookies with dulce de leche using a pastry bag. Chill filled cookies to set the filling.
- Melt chocolate and coat the cookies. Let the chocolate set before storing or serving.
